Rock Sound International Airport (RSD)

Rock Sound International Airport (RSD) is a small airport located on the island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas. It is situated about 5 miles (8 km) south of the town of Rock Sound and serves as an important transportation hub for visitors to the island and surrounding areas.

The airport has a single runway that is approximately 7,000 feet (2,133 meters) long and is capable of accommodating small to mid-sized aircraft. Several airlines operate out of Rock Sound International Airport, including Staniel Air. Staniel Air also offers private charters to Rock Sound International Airport.

Facilities at the airport are relatively basic but include a terminal building with a small waiting area, restrooms, and a snack bar. There is also a car rental desk and taxi stand located outside the terminal. As with many smaller airports in the Bahamas, Rock Sound International Airport can experience delays and cancellations due to weather or other factors, so it is always advisable to check with your airline before departing for the airport.

Rock Sound is a beautiful settlement located on the island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas. Here are some things you can do while visiting:

Beaches: Eleuthera is known for its beautiful beaches, and Rock Sound is no exception. Some popular beaches in the area include Wemyss Bight Beach, Cotton Bay Beach, and Ocean Hole Beach.
