Helping Our Neighbors
Staniel Air and all of our clients have been enjoying the beauty of the Bahamas for years. The Bahamas are like a second home to us and we prioritize conservation and relief efforts there as much as the mainland. While Staniel Cay and the Exumas weren’t impacted by Hurricane Dorian, our neighbors to the North were heavily affected. Staniel Air has shifted gears in order to aid in relief efforts.
Hurricane Dorian Relief Efforts
Over the past week, Staniel Air has collected goods to aid in relief efforts. So, with our hanger bay nearly full of food, water, and other items, we are equipped to help. We will be flying back and forth to affected areas to disperse donated supplies. Staniel Air is fortunate enough to have friends like Brett Diaz at HOOK 360°, an outdoor gear, and apparel company, to help donate and contribute to the large relief effort.
The people we have met in the Bahamas have always welcomed us with open arms. So, we are happy to be able to give back to the communities there in this time of need. We hope to help as many of our neighbors that we possibly can. Being based out of Ft. Lauderdale, we understand how detrimental the impacts of a natural disaster like Hurricane Dorian can be.
We are still taking donations to bring to the people of the affected areas in the Bahamas. We plan on making as many trips necessary. Give us a call or send us an email to coordinate drop off of supplies to help our friends to the east. While anything can help, we are now focusing on bringing food, clean water, and first aid supplies. The Bahamian Islands have supplied many people with unforgettable vacation memories and for many is a forever home. Above all, together we can help the Bahamas re-establish and rebuild from Hurricane Dorian’s devastation.
